This privacy policy applies to the services of ATRAXION. It is an integral part of the General conditions, and is linked to the Copyright statement. This privacy policy should therefore be read together with these two texts.

We are aware of the fact that you have confidence in us. Therefore, we consider it our responsibility to protect your privacy.

On this page we will explain which data we collect when you use our webshop, why we use it and how we improve your user experience with this knowledge. So you can understand exactly how we work.

You should be aware that ATRAXION is not responsible for privacy practices of other sites and resources. By using this webshop, you do accept the privacy policy.

ATRAXION respects the privacy of all users of its website and ensures that the personal information you give us will be treated confidentially.

ATRAXION always processes personal data in accordance with Article 6.1. of the General Data Protection Regulation, in particular on one of the following grounds:

Insofar as the processing of the personal data takes place on the basis of consent, the customer always has the right to withdraw the consent given.

Which personal information do we collect (processing purposes)?

ATRAXION only uses your personal data in the context of its sales activities. More specifically, personal data is collected and processed in the context of:

⦁ customer and order management and business operations (including customer

administration, shopping cart reminders, tracking order/deliveries, invoicing, 

solvency monitoring);

⦁ marketing and personalized advertising (sending of own promotions or those of 

carefully selected third parties);

Certain data is collected for administrative purposes only. This data has a supporting function and is used, for example, for the further administrative processing of orders.

Other data are much of a technical nature and are collected for the purpose of processing orders placed, for example, your username and e-mail address. Also data will be used to provide concrete help when you experience problems with your browser, computer or network when using our webshop.

We also collect your IP address and the communication between your browser and the webshop. This allows us to adapt the webshop per country, and offer support when problems arise. This also gives us the opportunity to analyse and block suspicious activity of anonymous users.

If you're not logged in, the registered data is in any case limited to the IP address and the communication with the shop.

Why do we use personal data?

To offer you the best service. We support you wherever possible in finding the right products, during the processing of orders, with invoicing and payment.

To show new products or promotions. We use mailing lists. You can always unsubscribe when you do not want a specific mailing. Below every mailing you will find the opportunity to unsubscribe.

In order to constantly improve our services. Based on your experience and your communication with the webshop, we can tailor our services better to your needs. This allows us to further optimize our services.

Because you are not a number for us. We strive for the highest degree of satisfaction of our customers. Therefore ATRAXION goes for a distinctly personal approach, also through our webshop. We therefore like to use your e-mail address and name to communicate directly with you.

It is possible that we save your communication so that we can help you better.

We are not an anonymous company with an anonymous online shop. Our staff is always personally available to help you.

How do we guarantee your privacy?

Everything is stored on secure servers of ATRAXION or a dedicated third party. Passwords are stored in encrypted form, and we are not able to decrypt those passwords.

We do not give or sell personal information to third parties, unless required by law or as a result of a legal order.

We do follow the European legislation and Belgian privacy laws very strictly.

Retention period

The personal data processed for customer and order management will be kept for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (among others things in the field of accounting).

Right of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and transferability of personal data

You have a legal right to access and possibly correct your personal data. You can request to view your personal data free of charge at any time and can correct them or have them corrected if they are incorrect or incomplete, have them removed, have their processing restricted and object to their processing on the basis of article 6.1 (e) of (f).

You also have the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form) of your personal data and to have your personal data forwarded to another company.

Cookies

The webshop uses "cookies" (little text files stored on your computer). When visiting our website, cookies may be placed on the hard drive of your computer. A cookie is a text file that is placed by the server of a website in the browser of your computer or on your mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies cannot be used to identify persons, a cookie can only identify a machine.These cookies therefore only contain a reference without meaning, the real data are stored on our servers for security reasons.

We use this information in order to see how you use our webshop, to report on webshop activity and offer other services regarding the webshop and internet use.

Most browsers are configured to accept cookies. You can change this so that you receive a warning when a cookie is installed, or you can set your internet browser so that cookies are not even accepted (via the help function of your browser). However, without cookies it is not possible to use the webshop anonymously. After all, we need to know that you are logged into the shop via your browser. Google Analytics

Purely for statistical reasons, we use Google Analytics on a completely anonymous base, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to help analyse our website, how users use the site. Based on Google Analytics, we can further analyse and improve the webshop, fix possible bugs and monitor the performance.

GDPR

By agreeing to our sales contract, you hereby give permission to ATRAXION BV to use and process your personal data even after the termination of the sales contract. This data is vital for our sales administration. ATRAXION commits itself to respect your privacy when processing and using your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation as stated on the 4th of May 2016.
